Ask
How does it actually work?
A first call, then a brief we write and you correct. From that comes a proposal with a budget in it. If you sign, we hold the venue, build the vendor list, and write the run sheet — the document that says what happens at 21:45. We are there on the day.
What does it cost?
Full planning is from $7,500 or twelve per cent of the budget, whichever is higher. Partial is from $3,500, day-of coordination from $1,200, a proposal from $900. You see the fee and the percentage together, before you sign, and the higher of the two is what you pay.
Do you take a commission from vendors?
No. Not from any of the sixty on our list, not once. If a vendor offers, we say so to you. It is the reason our list is what it is.
We are planning from abroad. Can that work?
About a third of our weddings are. Everything happens by video — the venues, the tastings, the mock-up table — and we answer in your time zone, not ours. Pick one when you book a call and we will meet you in it.
How does a proposal stay secret?
Six weeks, one contact, one thread. The photographer is placed before you arrive and never introduced. Everything we send you begins with the word 'Secret', so a shared phone shows nothing else on the lock screen.
What happens if it rains?
Every outdoor plan we sign has a covered plan under it, costed, in the same document. In Faqra in winter that is a heated tent; on a coast in July it is a wind rule rather than a rain one. We decide by 14:00 on the day, together.
Will our wedding end up on your Instagram?
Only if you write to us and say yes, after the day, having seen the photographs. Nothing is published otherwise — not a table, not a detail, not a hand. Everything on this page is a sample event shot with a consistent cast for exactly that reason.
What if we have to cancel or move the date?
A move inside twelve months carries no fee from us; the vendors' own terms are printed beside their names in your proposal. A cancellation refunds everything not already committed to a vendor, and we show you that number the day you ask.
How do we pay?
US dollars, by transfer, in three instalments: on signature, at the halfway point, and two weeks before. Nothing is due in cash and nothing is due on the day.
Is twenty guests too small?
No. Elopements start at twenty and are one of the three things we are best at — the other two being proposals and rooms that have to be turned around in nine hours.
What does your team actually do on the day?
Two of us arrive with the first vendor and leave after the last one. We hold the run sheet, call every cue, pay whoever has to be paid, and keep both families away from the technicians. You are not asked a single logistical question after 17:00.
