What to expect
- before
- Numbing cream, 30 minutes.
- No retinol for a week.
- Clear three to five days.
- during
- Cool air throughout.
- Forty-five minutes.
- It feels hot rather than sharp.

- Three to five days of redness and flaking.
- No sun for ten days, and that is not negotiable.
- A course of three, a month apart.
What it will not do
Resurfacing needs ten days of no sun afterwards. If you cannot give it those, the honest answer is to come back in October.
