Concept study — AWJ is a fictional showroom. The cars are real models; the prices, kilometres and histories are samples.
Build mine
Coastal highway · Dbayeh
Twelve cars on the floor. Two of them left last week and are still here, because what a showroom sells is turnover.
Every car leaves this floor detailed. What that means, and what it costs to keep it that way.
Paint protection film
Full front or full body, cut on the machine, five-year film.
Ceramic coating
Two-stage correction first. Three years, with an annual check.
Satin wrap
Colour change over the original paint. Reversible.
Sample prices. The exact quote depends on the car and the panels covered.
Verde Mantis

The coastal highway, 22:40. The only light on the strip.
The floor from the mezzanine. Six cars, one line.
22:55. One more comes in off the road.
Opened 2015 on the sea side of the coastal highway.Sixty cars a year, each one chosen. The stamps are in the file.
Sample figures from the concept.
Every car is inspected on 200 points before it reaches the floor, and the report goes in the file with the service history.
Sample report. Every car has its own, and you read it before you pay for anything.

You own something we have buyers for. This is how it goes on the floor.
Front three-quarter, both sides, rear, the interior and the odometer. And the kilometres.
A number, and what it is based on. If we cannot reach it we say so on the same day.
Photographed, filmed and listed — or offered to the list first, which is how most of them go.

AWJ Drive
Some of the floor is available by the day. The same cars, the same condition, delivered.

Six people who bought a car here, and what they said afterwards.
They sent me forty minutes of video before I flew. Nothing on the car was a surprise when I got here.
The advisory in the report was a tyre. They changed it before I collected and told me they had.
Customs took three weeks and I did not make a single phone call about it.
I asked for the invoices behind the stamps. They had all of them.
Sold mine through them in nine days, to somebody on their list. No photographs on Instagram, no time-wasters.
The price on the website was the price. That is rarer here than it should be.
Sample quotes from the concept. A real showroom's page carries their own Google reviews.
The questions we are actually asked, answered the way we answer them on the phone.
Customs, the mécanique and the plates. For a car already here, the plates move to your name in a few days. For one we bring in, customs is a percentage of the declared value and takes two to three weeks; we handle the file, the inspection and the registration, and you get a single figure at the start rather than a series of surprises.
Twelve months on the engine, gearbox and drivetrain, from the day you collect. It is ours, not the manufacturer's — a car this age is usually out of factory cover — and what it excludes is written on one page rather than hidden in twelve. Sample terms on this concept.
US dollars, cash or bank transfer. We do not arrange finance. Trade-ins are considered and valued the same day, and the difference goes either way.
Most of our diaspora buyers do. You get a forty-minute video walk-around with the sound on, the full history file by email, and a video call at a time that works where you are. Then a deposit, a power of attorney if you cannot come, and the car is delivered to the port or held for you at the showroom.
By appointment, with your licence and a deposit held on a card. On the supercars a member of staff comes with you; on everything else you take it out alone.
Anywhere in Lebanon on a covered truck, at cost. Most cars leave the floor that way rather than on their own wheels.
Yes. We prepare the export file, deregister the car and hand it over at the port with the papers a buyer's customs will ask for. Gulf and European paperwork are both familiar.
We photograph and film the car, list it, and handle everything until it sells. The fee is a percentage agreed in writing before anything is published, and there is no charge if it does not sell.
Six of the cars are on AWJ Drive, by the day, the weekend or the week. Twenty-five and over, thirty per cent deposit, two hundred kilometres a day, delivered to the airport.
Monday to Saturday, ten till eight. Sunday is by appointment — say the word and we will open, which is when most of the cars are actually sold.
Say which car and when. Everything else is a conversation.
